The Birthday Madness....

I had such a great day - from the moment I woke up until the time when I could finally pass out!

I recieved so many emails/msns/aims/ecards/greeting cards/phone calls from birthday well-wishers, and to all of them I would like to say thank you. That thoughtfulness just made the day.

It was a super busy day in any case, with all sorts of school related stuff to do. I was up before 7am to meet with an upper year whom I shadowed in the hospital to see if that is something I would like to do. It was a really neat experience, and I am looking forward to the next one. I was so in to it in fact, that I ended up missing class, so I could stay longer!

Becuase it was a Wednesday, that meant I had to do a lab. I really like the labs here. I get to work by myself (which is a new thing for me), and I have all the equipment I could ever want to use at my finger tips! Needless to say, it wasn't too painful, and I even got to leave an hour early becuase I was so on top of things!

I was quite exhausted, but the day wasn't over yet! I planned on a little get together at Good Time Charlies for about 9pm (ISH). Well, I eventually made it to my par-tay, albeit over an hour late! But it worked out quite well becuase everyone had already gotten to know eachother by that point. It sort of reminded me of Ritual - from back in the day.

The major highlight of the evening for me was:
Everyone singing "Happy Birthday" just for me!

To all those people who were worried that I wouldn't be having fun on my birthday, I think the pictures below say it all. And I was secretly pleased that you were all so worried about me...
