When you do things right, people should know you haven’t done anything at all….
The past few days have been relatively chill. There was the fun of both Mary and Jen’s Birthday last Thursday: we went to a delicious Japanese restaurant, and then headed out for some “fun” afterwards. It was an alright evening, there was some drama, but that should be expected! And get this, I was in charge of getting the Birthday Girl home safely!

Thinking of those Super Hot White Boyfriends we have!
Aside from that, I haven’t been doing very much. And by very much, I mean a pant load of work. I am writing this post as relief from writing three lab reports due in the morning. I think the muscles in my fingers are starting to seize up from this mad typing…. I also have several midterms, a paper and a presentation due in a matter of days. They always seem to work you really hard right before a break. Yes I said a break!
Being a Canadian in America has a few advantages, one of them being two Thanksgivings. This works out for me quite well, because I love to eat turkey! But this happens the week after next, and I think I am pretty much going to sleep through the break, and wake up for turkey, oh, and write another paper!
What freaks me out is that when I get back, it will practically be December! The semester will be over, and I will be right into exam time. As much as I “complain” about the work I have to constantly do, I would like to point out the fact that I couldn’t picture myself doing anything else right now.
Yesterday, we had a mock patient interview, and I loved it. I was all over the potential drug interactions!
In short, I am so happy to be here. And I love the fact that I can complain about this.

Woah, I look like a zombie in that pic. I'd like to think that all the cheap gin and sticky floors contributed to that scariness. :)
