My Dearest Friend "Dave" ... and Life in America

I was told that my Dearest Friend "Dave" (the one in the middle) wanted nude photos on my website... well I decided to cave, and give him what he wants...



Now that I am finally settled here... well I don't think settled is the word. I have forgotten so many things that I am actually going home this weekend to get it!

I have to take the bus to school - it picks me up, and drops me off right outside my door! I have never had to take the bus before, either I was dropped off, or I walked 20 feet to class. This is the first time where I will have to put effort into getting to class... I guess only time will tell...

Tonight is the first night alone in my new place. I was supposed to have a roommate, but she ended up changing her mind. So I am all alone, and in America. You know, Americans (in Ann Arbor) aren't so bad. I have never had so many people hold the door for me, say "please", "thank you" and even "excuse me"!

I think this may just work out...

I had the pleasure of making cookies with Amanda and Dave this morning. It was a lot of fun, as you can see from the photos. I honestly thought sunday mornings were for sleeping in, drinking coffee and reading the paper, but this experience has expanded my mind, and made my tummy sore! It is that whole pleasure/pain concept, where you keep eating becuase it is just so good, but you know it is going to be so bad in 5 minutes!
