It has been a while...
I am sure if you have ever gone to school, the first few days and weeks are abs. crazy. Needless to say, my first official week of class has been just that.
Class was pretty much an overview of what is to come, and it feels like we are just getting into the swing of things, although I already have homework and assignments! But as of now, things are under control (as they should be after only the first week).
Yesterday we had an all years picnic, which was a blast. I really didn't think that I would be there for 4 whole hours, but the time just flew by. I got to meet others in my year as well as chat with my professors and upper classmen/women. During the picnic a few of the P1's (that is what first year pharm kids are referred to as) made plans to head out for the evening.
We ended up at the law school watering hole, and it was so busy. They played great music, and getting to know the pharm kids a bit better made it all worth while, not to mention the crazy dancing that ensued. The irritating part of the whole evening was trying to get to and from downtown. This situation needs to be sorted out asap, becuase I don't think I can handle drunk freshman on a packed bus for 20 minutes.
chow-la,
